The 2018-2019 school year will be Danny’s 19th year in education where he has served as a classroom teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and director of alternative education in local school districts as well as in the Huntington Beach Union High School District. He earned his B.A. in History from Cal State Fullerton and his masters degree in Education from Alliant University.
Tim has 16 years of experience working at the high school level. Prior to becoming Assistant Principal at HBHS, he was a History Teacher, Water Polo/Swim Coach, and a Teacher on Special Assignment. Tim received his BA in History from UC Riverside, his MA in Education from National University, and his Administrative Credential from UC Irvine.
This is Melissa’s 17th year in education. She was an Assistant Principal at Westminster HS for three years overseeing the master schedule, curriculum & instruction, and supervision. Before she was an administrator, Melissa was a high school counselor for eleven years. Melissa received her BA and BS from UC, Davis, her MA and PPS Credential from SJSU, and she is currently a doctoral student. Melissa is very excited to be part of the Oiler family!
Mr. McManus was an English teacher here at HBHS and now serves as our Assistant Principal of Activities. He has an M.A. in Educational Administration, a B.A. in English Literature and an A.A. in Business Marketing.
Special Programs Administrator - Academy of the Performing Arts
Stacy Robison is the first Assistant Principal hired specifically for APA. Mrs. Robison has extensive teaching and administrative experience, and an expertise in Career Technical Education (CTE). Mrs. Robison graduated from USC with her BA in Journalism & Public Relations, and received her MA in Education and Administrative Leadership from Brandman University and UCI.
